The Foundation Placement Scheme is delivered under Section 37 of the Race Relations Act and is therefore designed specifically for applicants from Black Asian or Minority Ethnic backgrounds.

Who can apply?

You can apply for the scheme if you are: -

  • From a Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic background
  • Over the age of 18
  • From the Yorkshire & Humber region
  • A UK resident or have the right to work or train in the UK
  • Interested in gaining hands-on work experience in the media & broadcasting industry

How can I apply?

During each recruitment round of the Foundation Placement Scheme we will post the training specifications, application forms, and guidelines onto this website.
